Plant Operator
Legumex Walker is currently seeking a Plant Operator at our facility in Winkler, MB. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, setting up a cleaning system for a variety of commodities, continuous monitoring of the processing equipment, regular sampling of cleaned product, and completion of product logs. There will be other duties as required. This position requires shift work. Previous experience in agriculture is an asset. Specific Skills: Operate automated or computerized control systems, Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure, Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Perform routine equipment maintenance, Clean and lubricate machinery and components, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities, Write plant or building operation reports, Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures
